A favored show by many, the 2024 Palm Beach International Boat Show kicked off from March 21-24, along the West Palm Beach (FL) waterfront. Despite the one rainy day on Friday, the crowds showed up in force when the sun was shining. Horizon Yachts again had a premiere location for the display surrounded by their signature blue banners and covered booth that was inviting guests and owners alike.
Proudly displaying four yachts, including the new 2024 FD75 and E90, as well as two brokerage yachts, the 2018 CC115 “MY Adagio” and 2022 Tri Deck FD103 “MY Askari”, these models offer varying sizes and styles produced by Horizon Yachts. Guests could see first-hand the craftsmanship, spacious living areas and features each model is known for.
The Horizon display is in a coveted location, as it not only allows for the large tent and direct platform access to the yachts, but also shows the side view of the FD75, highlighting the Cor D. Rover designed craft.
Although South Florida experienced a mostly wet Friday that kept the crowds at bay, the other show days saw crowded docks and many people stopping at the Horizon Yachts display for information and a look at the yachts.
The Horizon team kept busy, as numerous meetings with attendees included guided tours of the yachts as well as reviewing key specifications. Horizon Yachts also has available blueprints of the yachts, giving serious inquirers access to the inner workings. It’s a common sight to see Roger Sowerbutts, Director of Horizon Yacht USA, and the team pouring over design drawings with new prospects. Current clients and repeat owners were in attendance also, looking at their options for moving up in size.
You really can’t keep the team from Horizon Yachts down due to the weather as the Friday evening Cocktail Party had some rain but also a lot of fun. Some guests did come out to celebrate with the team and enjoy the music by the Jutt Huffman band, light bites and cool cocktails. It was an enjoyable event, rain and all.
Informa Markets, the producer of the show which is owned by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, reports that this year’s PBIBS had a record-breaking number of vessels on display, making it the largest Palm Beach show in history.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show on March 20-23, 2025.
See you on the docks!
